Corporate Plan 2008-11

In 2005 the City Council published its ‘Blueprint for Change’ a three year corporate plan that focused on the key priorities at that time and put in place a comprehensive action plan to achieve them. A key element of the journey to improve the delivery of our services has been to create partnerships and vehicles to help us provide the services that residents need. We have successfully set up Gloucester City Homes to manage our housing stock and we are working in partnership with Enterprise to deliver our Streetcare services. The move toward high quality delivery for the city will continue with the establishment of a Marketing Alliance to promote the city, and a Leisure Trust to deliver our sporting and cultural agenda.

This document is the next step, building on the achievements of the Blueprint for Change, it sets out our plan for the next three years focussing on the outcomes that the residents of Gloucester have told us are important. Many will be achieved with the help of our partners so clearly setting out what is to be done enables flexible and innovative approaches to achievement.
